From RegSec - We regret to advise members of the death of Mrs Joanne Simons, wife of Ex WO2 (QMSI) Dave Simons,who passed away on 27th April 2008 after a long illness. The funeral was on 6th May and she is survived by her husband and two daughters. (Dave left the SASC approximately 10 years ago). |

Funeral Service was held on Wed 16th April at 1400 hrs at St Mary's Church, North Mymms, Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

From RegSec - We regret to advise members of the Death of Ex RQMS Cyril Pask at the age of 98. He died last week and his funeral is at Bournemouth Crematorium on Tuesday 4th March at 14.45 hrs.

From RegSec - We regret to advise members of the death of Jane, wife of WO2 (QMSI) Terry Croakin on 20 Oct 2007. A private funeral is arranged for 29 October to be followed by a Memorial Service at a future date (to be announced).
We extend our condolences to Terry who is currently based at the Infantry Training Centre, Catterick, and daughters Sabina and Beth.

From RegSec - Lt Col Digby Willoughby MBE MC died on 27 February in St Moritz. He was from Gurkha Rifles and was Chief Instructor Depot SASC in 1975-76. He was well known as one of the two who broke the world 2-man bobsleigh record in 1961. |

From RegSec - General Sir Charles Harington GCB, CBE, DSO, MC a former 'Patron' of the SASC 1967 died on 13 February 2007. He is remembered as an inspirational leader and great supporter of the Corps. |
