Methuen Day turned out to be mainly dry and apart from those mentioned on this page, there was a noticeable shortage of former SASC members. Perhaps this is because of the poor shooting results of the past couple of years, and this year's Methuen result was not much better. However, there is a light in the tunnel due to the increased participation of the Infantry Weapons Division from Brecon who fielded SASC competitors in the Army and National Championships this year, 10 of whom achived their Army 100 Medals and a win in The Falling Plates (RUR Cup) plus NRA Silver and Bronze Bars.
The Methuen Day presentations included the SASC Trophies, Goodwin Cup, Challenge Cup and Hale Cup, plus Medals and bars from ARA ans NRA cpmpetitions.
SEE News section for results of Methuen and CENTSAM.
