Methuen Day, this year was again a Thursday from 0730 - 1200 hours, and started wit typical Bisley downpours followed by showers. This year the Corps again had use of a large white marquee on the grassed area in front of Bunhill Lodge.
The Corps fielded one team, and as seen in the Methuen Results page in the News section, the result was poor with the SASC 14th out of 21 teams. SSgt Varley won the Hale Trophy. (SMI) Robinson again captained the Team this year

The Methuen Day presentations included not only the Hale Cup, but Corps representative Methuen medals.
See the News section for results of Methuen. Regrettably, there was no SASC participation in shooting for the Army Championship this year and some of the best SASC shooting members were again not available to represent the Corps.
An excellent curry lunch was provided which was enjoyed by the 16 ex SASC members and wives who attended in addition to serving member visitors.
